Hello wonderful parents! How would you like to find and connect with local like-minded homeschool families, families who value alternative education, parents who hold similar core values, and families who take interest in shared activities in your local town? Well, now you can with the Local Friends feature on the Home Tribe app!

If you haven't already, download the Home Tribe on iOs through iTunes, or on Android through Google Play.

When logged in as a Parent, navigate to the Explore Icon on the bottom right-hand side of your Home Tribe app.

Navigate to the Find your Eclectic Learning Experience button.

Navigate to the Local Friends button.

Choose either your Current Location or type in a Location.

After you have typed in your location, your Local Friends will pop up as a List View, and you will be able to use the Filter Feature to match personal interests with Local Friends.

Below is a snapshot of the Filter Feature where you can match families with Kids Grade Span, Family Interests, Favorite Family Outings, and Indoor Family Interests.

You can also search your Local Friends with the Map View by scrolling down and clicking on the See Map button that appears.

You will then be navigated to the Map View.

You can Contact Local Friends to send a message through both the List View, and the Map View on Local Friends Feature!
