You have created your beautiful educator listing, and/or curriculum and materials listing. Now it's time to get paid for your bookings and creations!
How Home Tribe Pays you for Bookings and creations.
As an educator or creator, you get paid when a parent books an online or in person service with you, or purchase your curriculum and materials. You get paid through Stripe when a parent books a service with you right to your bank account. In order to get paid, you need to connect your bank account to Stripe through Home Tribe. It's an easy process and you will be prompted to connect when creating anyone of your listings.
Your Payment Timeline & Commission
The parent's booking is collected through Home Tribe by Stripe, and you receive your payout within 2-3 days. You receive 96% of your booking an creator commission. We only charge you what Stripe charges us at 2.5% + .30 for each booking. This amounts to roughly 4%.
How to Connect your Bank Account to Home Tribe & Stripe
If you are on the iOs or Android app, your Stripe connect process will be seamless as you go to create a listing, and build your educator listing. You will not be able to publish your listing until you connect your Stripe account.
On desktop and mobile web version, your process will be seamless, but you can also navigate to connect your Stripe another way if you need to connect your Stripe account at a later time, The process is below:
When you are logged in, navigate to your Account Settings
In Account Settings, navigate to Payout Details. Choose to connect an individual (personal) bank account, or a business bank account
Get verified by following the Get Verified link through Stripe
You will be prompted to fill out your info through our Stripe integration.
Once you are finished, your Stripe account will be connected, and you will be re-directed back to Home Tribe
And now you are ready to get paid for your educator programs and services on Home Tribe!
